Warnings: Mithos' sister complex, fluffiness.
Effects: A feeling of peacefulness and contentment.

"Martel!" Mithos called out to a gentle-looking woman with green hair as he walked into their home. "I got my test results back!"

"Did you, Mithos?" the woman, Martel, smiled. "May I see?"

With a cheerful laugh, the boy handed Martel the paper. "Here. I'm sure you'll be happy."

If the smile on her face widening was any indication, she was very happy. "Oh, Mithos," she said, patting him on the head. "You've done such a good job! You're so smart."

"But Martel," Mithos looked up at her with wide eyes. "You're much wiser than I am! You'd do so much better than I do!"

"Perhaps," the woman sighed, "but I couldn't go as far as you, Mithos. Sadly, most people don't think a woman are capable are doing the things a man can. You know that."

This irritated the boy. He looked away from her, to the floor. "But that's not fair! You're just as capable as they are!"

Martel chuckled. "Then it's our job to prove them wrong. You will help me, right, Mithos?"

Mithos nodded furiously, looking back to her. "Of course, Martel! Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you're below me! I promise, I'm going to change this world right alongside you! We're going to create equality for everyone, regardless of gender or anything else!"

"It makes me very happy to hear that..." the smile on Martel's face was kind and gentle, but also somewhat weary.

The blond hugged her tightly, with no intent of letting go quickly. "I love you, Martel..."

Martel hugged him back, so happy that he was there. "I love you too, Mithos... my dear, dear brother."

Lloyd frowned. That was a problem, one he didn't know how to fix. Maybe if he talked to his dad or his teachers... But that would have to be later.

"Huh. Well..." Suddenly a brilliant plan bloomed. "Maybe I could teach you!"

Mithos hadn't expected that kind of response. He looked to Lloyd with wide eyes before asking, "you... you'd really do that?"

"Sure! I can tell dad you're helping me study, and you can come over anytime after school. Well, once I go back to school, that is." He thumped a fist into his hand enthusiastically. "I'll teach you everything I know!"

"I..."

His breath was caught in his throat, Mithos knew it. For a few moments, he resigned himself to just staring at Lloyd in awe.

"Thank you."

Lloyd smiled, pleased and suddenly a little bit embarrassed. "Heh. Don't thank me yet." Yeah, definitely embarrassed at admitting this. "I'm not that great at school. But I'll try my best to teach you! You can do anything if you try, right?"

He laughed weakly, unable to help that Lloyd's optimism was slowly beginning to rub off on him. "Yes... I suppose you can."

"Then it's settled." Finishing off the last bite of his sandwich, Lloyd washed it down with a swallow of juice. "When do you want to start? Tomorrow?"

"Ah... if that's all right with you," he replied quietly, uncertain but optimistic--something he hadn't been in a long while.

"Definitely." It was studying, sort of, but it wasn't. That made it something novel and new, which made it easy to be excited about it. "Just call me before you come over. Anytime should be fine, since I don't have to go to school." The doctors wanted him to stay off his feet a few more days at least.

He gestured toward the bag of food he'd collected, sitting at the end of the table. "That's for you. It's got some more sandwiches and some fruit."
